Ingredients
- Oil: Extra virgin olive oil is always the best for dressings as it has a nice rounded flavor. Regular olive oil or avocado oil can both be used too.
- Apple cider vinegar: The tang of the apple cider vinegar helps to balance out the sweetness of the maple. White wine vinegar or rice wine vinegar will both work great as well.
- Maple syrup: Use a natural maple syrup, and preferably grade A for the best flavor.
- Dijon mustard: Dijon adds a great tang of flavor and works so well with the sweet maple syrup. It’s a match made in heaven!
- Garlic: Minced or very finally diced for the best flavor.

Recipe Variations
This maple mustard dressing is pretty tasty as it is, but you can always swap or add in some extra ingredients to suit your tastes. I made this without any added salt, but feel free to add a little in to your tastes. Add a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise to make it extra creamy, and you can of course swap the maple syrup of honey.
