Equipment
Air Fryer
Ingredients
14
ounces
frozen waffle fries
2
tablespoons
oil
(canola, vegetable, sunflower etc)
½
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400F / 200c.
Place the frozen waffle fried in a bowl.
Add the oil and salt and toss well so that the waffle fries are coated.
Place in the air fryer and set for 15 minutes.
Toss the fries at 8 minutes. Check at 10 minutes and toss again. The fries will be ready in 13-15 minutes.
Notes
Preheat the air fryer before adding the waffle fries. If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat function, just let it run for 5 minutes at 400F.
Different air fryer models can run slightly differently, so start checking for doneness around 12 minutes.
Toss the waffle fries halfway through cooking and then move the around every couple of minutes. This will help them cook evenly.
You can double the recipe, but be sure to move the fries around a little more often and they may take an extra couple of minutes.
