Equipment

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the celery. Cut into 1 inch long pieces.
    2 celery hearts
  • Place the cut celery in the air fryer basket and add the oil and seasonings. Stir well to coat.
1 tablespoon oil, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, pinch black pepper
  • Set the air fryer to cook at 390F for 10 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Remove from the air fryer once tender and garnish with fresh parsley, if using.

Notes

  • Wash the celery ribs well under running water before using and pat them dry with kitchen towel to remove excess water.
  • If you want to serve these as an appetizer with a dip, you can cut the stems longer so that they are easy to hold and dip.
  • I found that 10 minutes of cooking time in the air fryer made the celery tender, but it still retained it's crunch. If you prefer it softer, you can cook them at a slightly lower temperature for longer.
