Using a sharp knife, cut the pumpkin in half. Use a spoon to remove the seeds and pulp. Cut the pumpkin into wedges and remove the skin.
1 pie pumpkin
Place the wedges in a bowl and toss in the oil and maple syrup.
1 tablespoon oil, 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Add the seasonings and use your hands to combine everything together, making sure that the wedges are well coated.
½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon ground ginger
Place the seasoned pumpkin in the air fryer basket and cook at 400F / 200c for 10 minutes.
Check for doneness with a fork, the pumpkin should be tender.
