Air Fryer Crispy Sliced Potatoes

A delicious option for your everyday potato side dish, these air fryer potato slices are easy to make and extra tasty!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound potatoes Russets or Yukon Gold (450g)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (canola, avocado, sunflower etc)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • generous pinch black pepper

To serve (optional)

  • sprinkle of salt
  • chives or other fresh her to garnish

Instructions

  • Peel the potatoes. Slice them around ⅛ to ¼ inch thickness.

  • Rince the slices under cold running water and pat dry.
  • Place them in a large bowl and toss in the oil and salt and pepper.
    2 tablespoons oil, 1 teaspoon salt, generous pinch black pepper
  • Even;ly spread the slices in the air fryer basket. Set to cook at 375F / 190c for 20 minutes.
  • Toss the potatoes every 5 minutes and cook til evenly golden brown,
  • Serve with a sprinkle of salt and some fresh herbs, if you like.

Notes

  • You don't have to peel the potatoes if they have thin skins, just give them a good wash.
  • Spread the potatoes out as much as you can in the air fryer basket so that they cook evenly. If you are doubling the recipe, it's best to cook them in two batches.
  • Give the potatoes a toss every 5 minutes during cooking to brown them evenly.
