Preheat the air fryer to 400F / 200c.
Cut the fingerlings in half lengthways and place in a large bowl.
Add the oil and seasonings to the potatoes and toss to coat.
Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook at 400F / 200c for 15 to 18 minutes, shaking halfway through, til golden brown.
- Preheat the air fryer before adding the potatoes, this will help them to cook more evenly. If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat setting, just let it run for 5 minutes at 400F while you prep the potatoes.
- Toss the potatoes well in the oil and seasonings. I find it easiest and quickest to do this with my hands.
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking. If you are doubling the recipe, you may need to move the potatoes round a few times during cooking so that they brown evenly.
- Air fryer models can run slightly differently, timings may vary slightly.
