Preheat the air fryer to 400F.
Cut the ends off of the parsnips and peel them with a vegetable peeler.
Cut in half lengthways. If your parsnips are larger, cut them into quarters.
Place in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients and toss to coat.
Place them into the air fryer basket and cook for 13 to 15 minutes til browned and tender, rotate them half way through with tongs.
- Try and cut the parsnips into similar sized thickness so that they cook evenly. Thin parsnips can be left whole and larger ones should be quartered.
- Use your hands to coat the parsnips all over in the oil so that they brown evenly.
- If your air fryer doesn't have a pre heat function, set it to run for 5 minutes at 400F before adding the parsnips.
- Depending on the thickness of your parsnips, cooking times can vary. Check at around 10 minutes.
