Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic bulbs
  • pinch salt
  • 2 teaspoons oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400F.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut across the top of each garlic bulb, so that the top of the flesh of the cloves are exposed.
  • Place each garlic bulb on a piece of foil, add a pinch of salt and drizzle each with a teaspoon of oil.
  • Wrap the foil around each bulb and place in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 20 minutes. In the last couple of minutes of cooking time, carefully open the foil so that the tops brown.

Notes

  • Larger bulbs of garlic can take slightly longer to cook, and smaller bulbs will require less time.
  • Use a fork or a toothpick to insert into the side of the bulb to check if it's tender.
  • To remove the cloves, gently peel away the outer skin and the cloves will easily be removed whole.
