Equipment

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces mushrooms (sliced)(450g)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 4 large garlic cloves (finely diced or minced)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380F / 190c.
  • Peel and slice the mushrooms and place in a large bowl.
  • Add the diced garlic, oil, salt and pepper to the mushrooms and toss together.
  • Place in the air fryer basket and top with slices of the butter.
  • Cook at 380F / 190c for 13 to 15 minutes til cooked to your liking. Serve with some fresh parsley garnish.

Notes

  • Don't slice the mushrooms too thinly. They contain a lot of water, so will shrink in size as they are air fried.
  • Stir the mushrooms halfway through cooking. If you are cooking more mushrooms than the recipe states, you may need to stir them a couple of additional times so that they all cook evenly.
  • Air fryers can vary slightly, model to model. Check for doneness from around the 10 minute mark.
