Air Fryer Red Potatoes

Easy to make, red skinned potatoes are simply seasoned and cooked quickly in the air fryer. A versatile everyday potato side dish.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400F / 200c.
  • Clean the potatoes to remove any loose dirt and chop the into smaller chunks. Nothing too small, a little larger than bite sized.
  • Place the chopped potatoes into a large bowl and add the oil and seasonings. Toss to coat the potatoes well.
  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket and set to cook at 400f / 200c for 20 minutes. Toss halfway through cooking to help them cook evenly.
  • Check for doness at 20 minutes. They should be tender. If needed, set to cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Notes

  • Preheat your air fryer so that the potatoes cook through well. If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat setting, let it run at 400F / 200c for 5 minutes before adding them to the basket.
  • There's no need to peel the potatoes, just give them a good wash before chopping them.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on how large you chop the potatoes and your specific model of air fryer. Check for doneness at 20 minutes.
