Preheat the air fryer to 360F / 180c.
Roughly chop the cabbage (don't cut it too thin) and place in a large bowl. Dice the onion and apples and add to the cabbage.
Add the oil, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper to the bowl and toss together so that the cabbage is well coated.
Add the cabbage to the air fryer basket and set to cook at 360F / 180c for 10 minutes, til tender with slightly browned edges.
Toss the cabbage at 5 minutes so that it cooks evenly.
- Don't cut the cabbage too thinly. It looses water and will shrink down as it cooks. You can get away with chop it pretty roughly.
- Dice the apples and onion fairly small so that they mix well with the cabbage and don't become too overpowering.
- Stir or toss the cabbage half way through air frying so that it cooks evenly.
