Equipment

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces frozen waffle fries
  • 2 tablespoons oil (canola, vegetable, sunflower etc)
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400F / 200c.
  • Place the frozen waffle fried in a bowl.
  • Add the oil and salt and toss well so that the waffle fries are coated.
  • Place in the air fryer and set for 15 minutes.
  • Toss the fries at 8 minutes. Check at 10 minutes and toss again. The fries will be ready in 13-15 minutes.

Notes

  • Preheat the air fryer before adding the waffle fries. If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat function, just let it run for 5 minutes at 400F.
  • Different air fryer models can run slightly differently, so start checking for doneness around 12 minutes.
  • Toss the waffle fries halfway through cooking and then move the around every couple of minutes. This will help them cook evenly.
  • You can double the recipe, but be sure to move the fries around a little more often and they may take an extra couple of minutes.
