- 1½ cups sour cream (360ml)
- 12 jalapeno slices (jarred rather than fresh)
- 1 tablespoon juice from the jarred jalapenos
- juice and zest of 1 lime
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper, added to taste
- Blend the ingredients together well so you have a smooth dipping sauce, scraping down the sides of the blender if needed.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking. I found that a generous amount of salt does wonders!
- Keep covered and refrigerated.
